Praying:
Christianity isn’t a do-it-yourself religion. We become Christians because of the sheer grace of God’s love revealed to us in Christ. Living as a Christian does demand effort and involves responsibility. However, we can only ever live the way God wants with the help, grace and strength of His Spirit. Similarly, while we must do all that we can humanly and practically to relieve the sufferings of others, there are certain situations and circumstances that only God can change for the better. These are some of the reasons why the bible consistently encourages people to talk to God, to pray. That’s why our final but perhaps our most important priority as a church is Prayer. We encourage all our members to pray regularly and as a leadership we are thinking through how we may develop the prayer life of the congregation in the future.
