Choir
In September 2008 our church Choir was born! We originally came together to take part in a televised Harvest Festival Service on RTE. We performed a traditional African Hymn and it was a great success. Since then, a group of us meet in the church twice a month to learn some new songs and hymns from a variety of musical styles and traditions. We teach some of these songs to the congregation once a month on a Sunday morning. We also sing on special occasions like Christmas, Easter or baptisms.
Some members of the group travelled to Dublin to take part in a music workshop called, “In Christ Alone”. They also had the opportunity to join the Irish Arts Choir in a spectacular worship concert in UCD.
Above all we enjoy singing and praising God. We also have a laugh and lots of fun. New members are always welcome. Why not come and join us?!
